Realizing this the girls, vocational homemakng department, under the guidance of Miss Olga Coleman, Mrs. Mar- garet Davis, Miss Patricia LeDonne and Miss Sara Seitz, offers an extensive program to meet the complex program of everyday living. After two years in this course the girls are equipped With knowledge and techniques in foods and nutrition, and in the construction of dresses, suits, and coats. Art and science, as applied to home and clothing, are included in this course. In addition to these, the course offers a semester of work in each of the follow- ing subjects:-consumer buying, vocations allied to homemaking, housing and home man- agement, child care and training, home nur- sing and hygiene, family relationships and per- sonal etiquette, and hobbies. Not only will this course enable the girls to become eflicient homemakers, but with a careful selection of subjects from ninth grade on, they will be prepared to enter college or to enter nurses' training.
