afifieaciKf t£e cwuutt This yeor, students were o lot more spirited than usual. The upbeat, positive at- titude showed up at.the pep rallies. A large part of the credit was due to the cheerleaders this year. They worked hard, putting a lot of time into perfecting cheers. They averaged two games a week cheering at Volleyball, Soccer, Football, Wrestling, and Basketball. This past summer. Varsity Cheerleaders went to camp at U.C. Irvine. Continuing in last year’s trodition, there were two new male cheerleaders, Larry Barker and Aaron Brown. The cheerfeoders represented our school when they went to Sea World on Oct. 31 to take part in a production for Teen Miss America. On Dec. 18, they went to Sea World ond cheered on the Special Olympics. They’ve done an excellent job this year, demonstrating lots of enthusiasm and spirit.
