Cloiremont High mode a (ommitment to hold more domes during the school yeor, ond to the joy (ond amazement) of the students the commitment was realized. Informal dances were a great way to make friends. Themes added enthusiosm and excitement. The first event of the school year was a football game and barbecue which culminated in a getting acquainted dance. When Oc- tober 31st rolled around, Chieftains turned out in their costumes for a Holloween dance. Cloiremont High celebrated imminent vocation at a hopping turkey trot.” The Jingle Bell Dance rang in the welcome holiday season with a crowd of red and green clod Chieftains. Everybody found their long-lost twin at the Doubles Donee. This year’s dances were fun ond spirit-raising... ond they were enjoyed by all who attended!! STUDENT LIFE 25

fierce de cultA, y u Every year has its scandals, heroes, ond tragedies, but 1987-88 will stand out in our minds as a year which wos definitely balanced between the inspiring and the sorrowful, innovations and obstocles. The following compilation highlights only some of the events of the year, but these ore the events that characterize the year 1987-88. tasks Hahn, tha Bokktr bimbo.
