Halloween this year gave Chieftains an opportunity to transform themselves into almost anything imaginable. Clairemont High hod a litter of social bunnies, a space cadet, and quite a few Indians. The disgusting, the strange, and the incredibly blood-soaked were an important part of the Halloween festivities. Many girls sported shoulder pods and football jerseys, and a number of guys joined the cheerleoding ranks for a day. Even those who didn't dress up enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere on Friday the 30th. Clairemont's Holloween brought many people together. Friends were made, comparing costumes. Classes were full of enthusiasm and the spirit of Halloween. All the fun and excitement that hod been built up over a day of dressing up and having fun were let loose at the sophomore-hosted Halloween dance.
