Spirit week was a welcome boost of enthusiasm early in the school year. Color day let everyone shout their support for their class. Freshmen sported the most chk of purple clothing, while the sophomores shined in yellow couture. Juniors set the school on fire in red, and the seniors were a class act in pink. Punk day had the brave in block spikes. Fifties day took us bock to a time of poodle skirts ond leather jackets. Khaki and olive green permeoted the school while everyone danced the conga on safari day. Outrageous orange ond blue day was a great finale for spirit week dress up days — everyone had some school colors to showll Lunchtime activities were an exciting break in the monotony of school. The piua eating contest digusfed everyone but was a lot of fun. We oil learned more than we ever wanted to know about intestinal air by watching the burping contest. Cheering on green footed friends roused up a great crowd during the frog roce. No one volunteered to dean up after the banana cram, but olmost everyone enjoyed watching others get smeared with banana.
