Membership is open to any student. The high school band participated in the e State Fair at Hutchinson, Kansas, and the Labor festivities at th Day Parade at Hoisington, Kansas and marched at all home foot- ball games. This group also e Kansas State College in the Spring. Concerts were presented at Holyrood, Bushton and Odin. In presenting a Christmas Concert, they were assisted by the Girls' Chorus. The Wildcat Band played for all home basketball games and ntered at the District Contest at Fort Hays pep assemblies. The Future Farmers of America chapter, organized in connection with the department, has become an important and active part of school life and has sponsored assemblies, campaigns and projects t in the interest of intelligent farming. Highlight of the year was the sweet- heart square dance held on February hlluirt 13 at which chapter president Vincent If. 'ui Dolechek crowned Arlene Ney queen for the evening.
