CDMMERCE LIBRARY Students deserving specialized training to prepare them for careers in the business world flock to the doors of the commercial department for instruction in general business, typing and bookkeeping. Vivien Fusillo is commercial instructor. This is a much used and abused storeroom of interesting, entertain- ing information. Students serve library users b checkin out books, salvag Y S ' ing dog-eared magazines and preparing new books for eager readers. Many new, popular books, fiction and non-fiction, were added during the year, and the library now offers the service of a picture, pamphlet and clipping file. Books are catalogued according to the Dewey Decimal sy- stem and students receive regular instruction in library useage. The library is under the supervision of Miss Harper, a state acredited librarian, and meets the standards of the state board of education and the Kansas School Librarians Asso- ciation. The student assistants organized under the leadership of president.
