art council 3 1 Art council is a school-sponsored club, giving the members an opportunity to further their knowledge of art and at the same time to enrichthe culture and esthetics of Clackamas High. The club engages in several field trips throughout the year such as to the Portland Art Museum and to museums in Seattle and Salem. Some of the duties ofArt Council are to approve all posters before they go upg to display sudent art work in classrooms, in the library, and in the halls, and to help with decorations whenever requested by an- other club.

future teachers First Row Ann Tippetts Marlene Yamamotto, Nancy Gray, Clarice Tippetts Second Row Kathy Harris Sandy Paist Fabianne Hertel,Pat Robison. Future Teachers was formed to help the members learn more about the teaching pro- fession--to help them to decide about their careers. The club puts on a Teacher's Tea for Tea- cher Appreciation Week. They have an ob- servation day Where the members visit grade schools in the area, sit in classes and ob- serve the teachers and the children. They also visit colleges during the year. The members assist teachers by correcting papers, arranging bulletin boards, filing, and other odd jobs.
