s eech squad First Row: Vickie Cantwell, Tess Gustafson, Second Row: Jim Wilkinson, Sandra Wornstaffg Third Row, Margot Beutler, Judy Kisorg Fourth Row: Tim Barry, Mr. Clark Peters. The 1966-67 Speech Squad participated in 16 tournaments, they placed in the top seven in each tourna- ment that designated standings. Main tournaments included the Corvallis Invitational, Metro Fall Critique, Dallas Invitational, Pacific University, West Linn NFL Practice, Lake Oswego Invitational, Metro Debate, University of Portland, Linfield College, Metro Spring, District 411, Oregon High School Speech League, Pacific University Tournament, Jesuit Invitational, and the NFL State Individual Events Tournament. This year's squad placed 56 times, as compared with 26 times last year, achieving first place in the District 411 Tournament, seventhfout of 785 in the Linfield Tournament, second fout of 371 in the Paci- fic Tournament, and fourth in the Metro Spring Tournament.
