We ended up with a 9-7 record. The Cavaliers had the best pre-season record of any Metro team and thus took first in pre-season standings with a 4-2 record. This team was a real hustler. The boys were tough defensively, and they all were potentially able to score well at any time. Ken Alcorn was honored with a position on the All-County team, a second team position on the All- Metro Team and an honorable mention for the All- State team. Herm Gartner and Dan Pettieord made the Second Al-County team and received honorable mention for the All-Metro team. .lim Xvambangh and Rick Reents also received honorable mention for the All-Metro team. This confirmed the view that the boys were a team to be proud of. MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.
