CENTENNIAL DAY The Clackamas Cavaliers celebrated the lOOth anniversary of Oregon on March l3, l9S9. Nearly the entire student body participated in the occasion bv dressing cen- tennial fashion. There were costumes all the way from those of an Indian maiden to those of a Western marshall. That evening, a Centennial Dance sponsored by G.A.A. was held and was a big success. The centennial cos- umes were also worn that day to school. 4011 I .. ,A The 1959 Basketball Court was crowned at the Basketball Bounce which was spon- sored by Lambda Chi after the home- coming game with Milwaukie. Queen Pauline Myers and Princesses Faye Ful- mer and Heather MacArthur ruled over the dance. .I N' 3,1 B L- .. The Slave Sale was soonsored bv Future Teachers of America and held during noon hours in the cafeteria. Amonq their other various activities are cake walks and cake sales.
