INTRODUCTION A trophy symbolizes a past achieve- ment ... an earned reward for skill, deter- mination, diligence. And so we place our trophies in a trophy case as to remember the goals we have achieved. In the years ahead, we hope you will look back on Civic Memorial High School as more than a building, but more like a home, re- membering that it's not the bricks and stones which make the school but, rather, the values in human life and character which determine the true worth of the institution and your posi- tion as you go out into the world.
