Getting off to a lively start, the Class of '50 managed to maintain a fast pace in their following three years. As sophomores, they were active in adopting a fourteen-year-old boy from Holland, sponsoring a clean-up week, and presenting a one-act play for their class assembly. In their junior year, they kept up their pace by making their major goal the Iunior-Senior Ban- quet. This event, held at the Altadena Country Club, was one which will go down in the history of Citrus banquets as the most elaborate. They filled this, their last, year with preparations for graduation, such as having senior pic- tures taken, selection and measurements for caps and gowns, and the selection of graduation announcements. 'i To raise money for the gift to be left to the school, the class sponsored the annual senior play. They chose Little Women for this year. There was a large' turnout and that put another feather in the bonnet of the 1950 senior class. 'Q The members of the class of '50 have established themselves in sports, citizenship, scholar- ship, sportsmanship, and band. They have won three inner-class track championships in a row, while the girls managed to hold their own in inner-class championships, as well. The final burst of spirit was used in plans for senior week, the senior picnic, and last of all, graduation.
