Dilday, Monticello, Arkansas, goes the credit of being the very first student to arrive at the Citizen's Military Training Camp. Although the camp did not oflicially open until Wednesday, August I, young Dilday arrived on Sunday, July 29. A I Wanted to be sure and get here on time, he said, in explaining his early arrival, and besides I Wanted to get started on my military training. The officers and troops of this command will assist in memorial exercises for the late President, Warren G. Harding, at Leavenworth on Friday, August Io, 1923. 2. The following radiogram is quoted for the information and guidance of all con- cerned: - Remains of late President Harding will be consigned to their last resting place at Marion, Ohio, on Friday, Ioth instant. On that date all labor will be suspended and at twelve o'clock meridian twenty-one minute guns will be fired at all military posts and stations. Signed: Alvord, Acting Adjutant General. 3. At 3:oo p. mf, one gun will be fired and all activities will cease for a period of live minutes as silent tribute to the late President of the United States, Warren G. Harding.
