Twice a week the assembly was entertained by snatches of a Jungleland Comedy, Far Away in the South, and several other selections, when they practiced in the recitation room. This year the Boys' Glee Club was a decided success. It was made up of twelve young men of our High School. Mr. Sullivan directed them and Miss Chappell acted as accompanist. Eight were chosen to combine with the Girls' Glee Club to form the High School Chorus. They sang at the State Horse Thief Detective Association Convention, The County Agricultural Club Meeting, The Inter-Society Contests, The County Literary Contest at Gilman, The Baccalaureate Services, The Com- mencement Exercises, and the contest conducted by the State Normal gfniversity at Watseka.
