It was open to every boy in the community who was not going to high school, regardless of whether he had ever attended a high school before, or not. This was our high school's first attempt to help in this Way, people in the community who were not regular students. This course was held during the winter months, at that time of the year when the farmers have the most spare time. The course lasted six- teen weeks from November 30 to April 2. There were fourteen boys en- rolled in this class. The course consisted of Business Arithmetic, Business Bookkeeping, Business Spelling and Penmanship, and Business English.
