Stooge Club This year the Stooge Club was comprised of 25 members including five new members initiated at the beginning of the second semester. They were Dick Alkire, Jack Cook, John Horn, Bob McClure, and Bob Wellington. As usual, the Stooge Club played an active part in sports this year. Their many activities included handling of football season reserve tickets, Junior High foul shooting contest, purchase of S.C. O. L. awards, Junior High basketball medals, and football film, and the annual Stooge Banquet. Lloyd Williams Adviser ... .,,. .. .. . .Richard Boyd Hi-Y Club Any boy with a C average or better and in grades i0 through I2 is eligible for membership in the Hi-Y Club. This club is the branch or- ganization of the National Hi-Y Organization in Circleville High School. Purpose of the Hi-Y Club is To create, maintain, and extend through- out the high school and community high standards of Christian character, clean speech, clean sportsmanship, clean scholarship, and clean living. This year the club took part in many activities around school. Some of the activities were a football dance, a basketball dance, attending church as an organization once a month, presentation of a Thanksgiving program, lectures, and movies. The year's activities were climaxed with the Hi-Y Banquet on May 6. As the Christian representation here in Circleville High School the Hi-Y Club looks forward to every coming year as a further and more challenging reason for Christian service by high school boys.
