Events began at 8:00 P.M. with dinner and danc- ing. Over two hundred and fifty couples danced to the music provided by Mr. jerry Konesfky and his band. The crowning of Queen Sharon Strohlein was the climax of the prom. She was elected by those attending the prom. Her court was Holly Hartsough and Mary Lou Mesmer, seniors, and junior, Karen Myers. Each girl received a rose as a token of remem- brance from the junior Class. Eighty two students who had distinguished themselves in the four areas measured and esteemed most highly by the Na- tional Honor Society: Scholarship . . . Character . . . Lead- ership . . . and Service were honored on Thursday evening, April 10, 1975 in the auditorium at the annual induction of new members. Welcoming remarks were made by advisor, Mrs. Shultzg Cindy Martin, Harry Segner, Nan Fortiner, jay Seither and Tim Sakaguchi spoke on the qualities of scholar- ship, character, leadership and service. Don Pruitt, Diane Leuzinger, Michelle Moore, Joann Riener, Barbara Kitchens and Vicki Assante were in charge of National Honor Society pinning.
