WE DEDICATE, This annual to our headmaster Herbert Milton Davison, enthusiastic supporter, loyal friend and mentor, who in the years he has been at Country Day has done so much to further the ideals of the school. Mr. Davison's first capacity at Country Day was head of the Latin Department for nine years, after which he left to assume the office of Assistant Headmaster at Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey Following an absence of nine years, Mr, Davison returned to Country Day as Headmaster, a position he has held ever since. Mr. Davison graduated from Yale University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and from the University of Cincinnati, with a Masters degree in both Latin and English. In civic affairs as well as school matters, Mr. Davison is also a leader. He is a vestryman of the Indian Hill Church, and is a member of The Schoolmaster's Club of Cincinnati. He was recently elected president of The Ohio Association of Independent Schools.
