enior History and Theme September of 1953 found 54 green freshmen timidly opening the door to new and different surroundings, We soon adjusted to this new environment to discover an entirely different world within the portals of Churchville-Chili. After this acclimation, our leader, Larry Gruendike, was quickly chosen. He guided us through our first turbulent year. Upon entering our Sophomore year as old pros and thankful that our first step toward graduation was behind us. Dick Zorn was elected President, a.nd along with the cooperation of every member of the class we achieved our one main goal, the Senior Trip. Early in the fall of 1955, our ,Ttmior class again chose Dick Zorn as Class President. Baked food sales, dances, and the sale of salt water taffy helped add to our evergorwing treasury. With a feeling of sadness we entered the halls of C.C.C.S. for the last time, determined to make this year the best ever, Dick Zorn was elected president, Dave Pederson, Vice-Presi- dent, J' ack Brodie, Secretary and Priscille Tallman, Treasurer. Our class undertook a magazine sale to embellish the treasury and this business venture was a great success, the treasury was well embellished by then. Our play, Boys About Bobbettef' came off with abang on November 16 and 17. Then came the long awaited Washington Trip where the money accumulated over the years was spent in six daysl The month of ,T une and Graduation soon arrived. Our days at C,C,C.S. are over but the memories will live in our hearts forever. and Advisers SECOND ROW: D. Zorn, J. Brodie. 14 enior Officers
