This year the Churchville-Chili ship of education has had at its helm the steadying hands of the members of the Board of Education. This group of nine men,elected by the voters of the district, has been of service both to the students of the school and the community in general. Their job has been a tremendous one this year, since they have been faced with the solution of our building need. However, on October 16th a proposition calling for the purchase of two sites and the erection of a 24 room elementary building won approval by the voters. Since that time, the board has been occupied with the purchase of these sites, preparing plans for the new building, and getting con- struction started. It is hoped and expected that some of the new building,at least, will be ready for occupancy in the fall of 1955. 9
