i v In ,A Y! . , X xg f igwwqc - f N 1949, we were so glad to finally be in high school, that with Mr. Hickox as advisor, we started eagerly on our journey through. With Patsy Dewey as President, Sandra Sage Vice-President, Mary Ann Kendrot Treasurer and Barb F005 Secretary, we saw through a very financially and socially profitable year. We had the movie Three Little Girls in Blue. A skating party, Christmas party and our annual class picnic were on our social calendar. As Sophomores, September offered us a whole year of challenges. We greeted a fine new teacher, Mrs. Knapp, as our advisor. Francis Lins was elected President, Barb Foos Vice- President, Mary Ann Kendrot Secretary and David Buss Treasurer. Again, we had a movie, Margie, In the Spring we held a dance, which we appropriately called The Sophomore Spring Swing. We had another skating party and the annual picnic in Churchville Park and before we realized it, the year had slipped away. In our Junior year we accomplished many things. Doris Roach, President had a capable staff-Jack Kreckman Vice-President, Sandra Sage Secretary and Jerry Peckham Treasurer. We felt as if we were truly in the South in the 1800's when we attended our Junior Prom, Dreams Of The Old South. The theme was carried out beautifully by large colonnades, chandeliers and even portraits on the wall. After our prom, our dreams really did come true when we were able to wear our class rings at last. In January, we had a square dance and in June we enjoyed the Junior-Senior picnic at Stony Brook and Roseland Park. All in all, it was a year we shall always remember. For the third year, we greeted warmly our very capable advisor, Mrs. Knapp. Francis Lins was our President, Fritz Hoehn Vice-President, Hazel Bater Secretary and Donald Girven Treasurer. Our play You Can't Take It With You was a tremendous success. We also had a square dance, movie and above all, the Junior-Senior Ball, which was the second formal dance of our high school career. The Junior-Senior picnic was again loads of fun, this year at Crystal Beach. To climax all four years, we look forward most of all to gradu- ation, which will represent all we have enjoyed at Churchville. 13 1
