ART CONTEST HELD Berry Klingman presented to our school the oil painting that was g ive n in recognition of his standing in the State Art Contest. The school if proud of the picture. This award was made possible by the Women's Club. POE MS PUBLISHED At the 1960 Awards' Assem- bly, Peggy Benson, Ronnie W e b b e r, Sharon Drasites, Suzanne Mc Masters and Richard Morris were presen- ted a n anthology in which their original poems had been published. EXCELLENT RATINGS WERE RECEIVED At the 1960 Awards' Assembly, Betsy Urban, B111 Hintichs, and Rob Gordon were cited for having received ratings of Excellent in the Latin Contest. These three Latin students received pins and certificates for their work at the Latin Contest.
