COlTlmdf'lCiZl' L, in Chief WALLACE SMITH. Principal THE MAN with the best disposition, the friendliest smile and more pa- tience than anyone we ever saw is our principal, Mr. Smith. He is new here this year and has done a wonderful job keeping things going. He listens to all the troubles us students bring to him andi tries to find the best way out, when someone wants to change his or her schedule, he spent hours of his valuable time trying to decide which coursewould be best and when you go in and change a schedule from five to ten times, and he still smiles and is willing to help you-that is really endurance. He passes in the hall and always gives a friendly smile and on the street it isa wave. ALICE MAFFI. Secretary PIN-UP GIRI. ALICE is always willing to give us passes when we're late for classes, though she sometimes wishes we were'nt so slow. Without her, Mr. Smith wouldn't know what to do- she writes his letters, etc. And we don't mean love letters. She is a gay sort of a little affair and if you sneak up real quietly, you can some- times hear her humming to herself. Of course we know just exactly who she is think- ing of. She is a swell gal, and we all think the world of her.
