Q0 we try to be reasonable and overlook and forgive them for being cranky. Right in there pitching with the faculty is the school board. Frank Scholz, Don Chapman and Waldo Davis are as interested in the athletic deficit as they are in the new roof scheduled for the high school. Board members and fac- ulty alike turn out one hundred per cent for our football games and school functions. They come, we know not from a sense of duty, but because they're interested in the school. That's why they're doing such a good job, we think.

ANNUAL STAFF What with Red Cross and USO and a dozen and one other charities to support, we felt Fallon merchants couldn't aEord ads in the annual this year, so we students are footing all the bills. Bill Marsh has figured out a way for us to come out on top, too. The student body has backed us to the man by signing up for a total of three hundred copies of our book. We've tried to put into our abbreviated war-time book those pictures and write-ups that will mean most to you ten years from now. Mrs. Foster has given us her time and many of her limited supply of films. From Nevada Engravers Mr. Lane has sent us excellent cuts. Without Claude Smith at The Standard oflice We know We'd never get over the first dummy. And while we're handing out citations we thank Tom Weaver and Bill Longwill for the sports copy they've turned in. We hope you like the book.
