IT seems ThaT my broTher was inviTed To Secaucus, New Jersey To play againsT l.iTTle Sam Guggenheim, The Town Tiddly-winks champ. l.iTTle Sam knew my broTher's record-3,000 wins, no losses-and wiTh inTenT To break iT, he cheaTed and won . . . by using loaded Tiddlies, This deTeaT has noT dimmed his enThusiasm, Tor he sTill conTinues To shuTTle and sTumble inTo The kiTchen while l am doing homework, and regale himselT wiTh honors. SomeTimes he will Take ouT his ElecTric l:ooT- ball game and in his cracked egg and old phonograph record voice, will announce The Thrilling evenTs in The game beTween l-loly Cow and l-loware U. And iT's WiTz on The end, running down Tield wiTh The ball. l-le's passed The 30, The 25, The 20, The I5, TTTTTTTT lpause Tor breaThl Uh! oh! Tolks, he's running The wrong way. Then he will run his sTubby Tingers Through his sTubby hair and bend down To reTer To his record books, kepT in his own illegible handwriTina. l-le has a book Tor baseball, one Tor TooTball, and anoTher Tor baskeTball. They conTain scores, games played, names, numbers, and a Thousand oTher inTeresTing TacTs. l-le will pore over These Tor a Tew minuTes and Then go back To his game. SomeTimes he spends- hours going over his eguipmenT. This consisTs oT Three baseball baTs wiTh Taped handles, a sTick ball baT-a mop sTick To all you novices-, a hockey sTick, a Tennis racaueT, and a badminTon racaueT. A badminTon racgueT? Yes, a badminTon racgueT. A TooTball, baskeTball, Two soTTballs, 35 Tiddlies and a number oT assorTed winks make up The resT oT his eguipmenT.
