No dances in fhe gym, no laughfer from behind closed doors, no whisperings in 'rhe halls, no baskef ball games or proms-nofhing is here buf darkness and fhe nighf. The lasl' scrubwoman has gone home. She packed her long handbag and walked down fhe hall fo fhe main enfrance, pausing for a momenf 'ro say good nighf fo fhe cusfodian's assisfanf.
