I am a stander-in-line, signer of last name, first name, middle initial, receiver of chair, desk, bed, and dream-a freshman. Being a freshman is a little frightening, being a freshman is a lot of fun, best of all, it's exciting, it's unique-it's beginning. College is coffee between classes touchdown passes cram exams studies, buddies skirling pipes campus gripes things to do . . . a point of view . . professors, books, labs, essay questions lmake a stabi, steins of stout, turn about, English themes, dramatic screams, softball teams, impossible schemes. hard work homework . . . slow work . . . no work Listening, talking, thinking, walking, seeing, being . . . this is college, this and more- College perhaps is many doors. - Denton Beal 3 L J, 4 A- M World wide, across town we have come to college. But this is not the end, the realization ot a goal, it is the beginning -the threshold. College is many doors. It is first the door to education. It is the door to independence, to achievement, and ultimately, to self-realization. These doors are within our reach, and the choice is ours. Though Christian College days must end We'll ever sing her praise, Till life's last glowing ember We always will remember The joy of Christian College clays. Junior Song When you're just around the corner From Life's wide open door, You sometimes stop and wonder Who could have asked for more. Your college years are the best years That you'll remember well. The love we bear for Christian Words can never tell. We love the old traditions, The campus beauty fairy The friends we know and love so well Are friends that we met there. So looking back on your life someday Your college days will shinef A place for Christian will always be In your heart and mine.
