An, atmos- V phere of friendly ioy and academic Q' -seriousness helps to create that intangible quality of character which Christian alumnae fi carry around the world. From this core of college days, may we expand our vistas to encompass careers ' or marriagefvvhichever will enable us to realize our fond- est dreams for the future. rWe, the College Widow staff, pre- sent CATHYSPHERE: life on our campus, from parties to plays, from books to banquets, from labs to loafing -COLUMNSPHERE: fun in Columbia from the Strollway to fraternity row -and COUNTRYSPHERE: our soiourns to points as close as Booneville and as far as Bermuda. May A you find herein your fondest memories of Christian College days. BOUNDLESS They talk about a woman's sphere As though it had at-limit, There's not a place in earth or Heaven, . Mingling plans for the future with past traditions, Christian's president has become a respected 'and' beloved part of the campus scene. Besides sponsoring the 5.G.A., Dean Helen Engelhart greets each Cathy entering her office with a warm smile and intense interest. Whether she seeks a week-end permission or serious counseling, each girl receives personal attention and careful help. Although he is one of the busiest persons on campus, Dean William Bedford always has time to help students with any scholastic problem. 18' L. E.
