John Henry Cardinal Newman once described a college in these words: 'git is a place for seeing galleries of first rate pictures, for hearing Wonderful voices, and performances of transcendent skill. In an attempt to create this center of excellence, CBC launched its Arts Program Series in 1968. This was done with the cooperation of Siena College and its Fine Art department. Part of the philosophy behind the entire series is the developing of the whole student. The well educated man of today needs more than specialized training in a specific field. These cultural programs are offered to fulfill such a need of the college students, friends, and alumni. The program's success so far is attested to by the response of the students. CBC releases new leaders to the community with the graduation of its seniors. The seniors add professional men to the communities and their needs.
