McElhenney, M. 0'NeiIl, I. Hughes, I. Stanton, M. Bailey, T. Bugni. Central had one of her best Freshman teams ever, this season. The team, coached by Rev. Bro. E. T. Beyer, won all of its games against other Freshman Teams throughout the state, and even beat a Senior Intramural Team. This speaks well of Brother Beyer's Coaching because this undefeated season gives him 26 straight Wins in the past two years as Freshman Coach. lt is from this team, that next year will be drawn the members of the B Team, and perhaps some members of the Varsity , therefore the fine record and high spirit of this team speak favorably for future teams at Central. A balance of height, combined with teamwork, spirit, and good coaching by Mr. Ed Dennehy and moderating by Brother Hueller, produced a good team. These players will be the members of Central's future A teams, and have already proven themselves to be good material. The team wound up the season with a 8-4 record.
