Run, you hog! The humpty squad. The Hardships of Physical Education A new teacher, Mr. Tom Wallace, was added to the Physical Education Department this year. Together with Mr. Nix, the coaches spread terror among the fresh- men, sophomores and upperclassmen. Using a variety of exercises and running drills, the teachers make gym something to look forward to. What else can you do Aviotti?

Freshman Cagers Display Promise The Frosh cagers tipped off the '69 season with a victory over the Carver Cobras. Under the leadership of Coach Noel Carie, the Baby Brothers displayed impres- sive offensive and defensive talents. The freshmen de- stroyed arch-rival Catholic with double victories, but were handed losses in a pair of squeakers by the league- leading Frayser Rams. The highlight of the season was a double-overtime victory over Manassas. The fruits of this Frosh season should bloom fully in future years for both B-Team and Varsity. Morrisonls arching shot eludes the outstretched arm of a high- hopping Carver defender. FIRST ROW: T. Walsh, J. Wilhelm, J. Morrison, W. Cheairs, G. Albertine, K. Foster. SECOND ROW: L. Follow the bouncing ball. Right thru the table Intramurals Stimulate Homeroom Competition Under the expert directions of Commissioner of Athletics, Chuck Thompson, intramurals were a main source of involvement for the student body. Sponsored were a football sea- son, pool tournament, and Ping Pong tournament. With such fine partici- pation this year, the program will continue to instill among the students at CBHS a greater competitive spirit. The object of concern.
