9:00 a.m.: A new day begins at a new Christian Brothers High School. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors crowd Through the noisy halls, tirst to their lockers and then To their homerooms. From 9:00 until 2:30 stu- dents learn. School life means school work. After 2:30 a boy's life becomes his own again: he can report to the locker rooms for athletic practice, at- tend a club meeting, or head for home. Good students are usually good workers, and through their la- bor, under the guidance of the Chris- tian Brothers, they vitalize 5900 Wal- nut Grove Road. School lite is people-students and faculty-working together to make C.B.H.S. the great institution that it it. It is a physics experiment, a rowdy but discriminating crowd, a chapel visit, or a Saturday landscaping. School life is intangible, it cannot be defined-only described. The 7966 Chronicle has attempted, neverthe- less, to capture the spirit of Christian Brothers High School, Memphis, Ten- nessee. Raising the flag at C.B.H.S. characterizes the beginning school day. of each We are the Brothers, couldn't be prouder!
