fs Xxfsf '. Jr!,w7'm g-miimmmpr i ghttwqs A te1x tt PER IPSAM ETIN IPSO My dear graduates: I extend to you sincere congratulations. This day marks an im- portant milestone on your journey through life. What lies before you, I do not know. But this I do know: model your life on the divine exhortation of Christ, and you will have nothing to fear from it. Troubles will come not of your choosingg but you can always choose to have Him for your Confidant, and you will find His sympathy and understanding a greater comfort than the troubles are vexatious. Worry about nothing but what takes Christ from you: the voluntary and avoidable catastrophe of grave sin. Cling to Him at all oostsg model your life on His life, and your journey through life will prove to be a success both in time and in eternity. I commend you to His Divine Heart, and to the care of His Mother and your Mother. THE MOST R-EVEREND WILLIAM L. ADRIAN Bishop of Nashville

Faculty Message Dear Graduate : You have now spent four years in high school bet- tering yourself intellectually and morally-a very laudable enterprise. It is just the beginning, how- ever. You have the capacity for much higher train- ing. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity, but push on to the limit both intellectually and morally. This is the blueprint for success and happiness and it will render to you a really full life. May every success be yours in a very long life. Sincerely, BROTHER LAMBERT THOMAS, F.S.C. President To the Graduates of 1958 . . . The scholastic year of 1957-1958 should always be, in your mind, one of the important years of your life. It marks the completion of your high school education and your entrance upon the stage of a more adult life of greater responsibilities and greater seriousness. Your high school training should have laid the foun- dations for your future work and success. Adherence to the principles inculcated over the past years will insure your success in this life and, much more im- portant, in the life to come. The continued observ- ance of the good habits and practices developed since your education began will help you lead use- ful and happy lives-lives which will reflect credit upon your family, your school, and your Church. Enter upon this new life with an enthusiasm, a courage, and a hope that will give inspiration and confidence to yourself and to those with whom you will associate. Our best wishes and prayers for your success go with you as you leave Christian Brothers High School. God bless all of you. Sincerely, BROTHER H. RICHARD, F.S.C. Principal
