We have endeavored to re- cord, graphically, with truth and sincerity, the achievements, successes, and even the failures that were a part of the past year . . . one in a long history. The sages tell us that memory fades, and that it is Well to have a record in black and White to authenticate the stories of youth that Would otherwise dirn in the inexorable passing of the years. So, We feel that the time and effort that produced this book is justified if it serves to recall a precious memory . . . a mo- ment or an hour . . . a dear friendship, or a recollection of the joy and exuberance of youth that was ours in this class of 1961. 1961
