Wofkem f Another successful year has ended for the Mothers' Club. Under the able direction of its officers, the Mothers' Club has contributed funds to the furnishing and renovating of our C.B.C. library. The calendar of events for the Mothers' Club reflects the great work and planning for which it is so well noted. In September the year's festivities opened with the Freshmen Mothers' Tea. October saw the Fall Card Party. In November the Mothers held their Communion Breakfast. The month of December ended with the traditional Christmas Party. A Fashion Show was presented by the Club in February. In March the Mothers' Club attended its annual Day of Recollection. Along with the budding flowers, April was the month of the Spring Card Party. Of course in May we were very proud to escort our Moms to the Senior Mothers' and Sons' Banquet. In a few words we have tried to show the accomplishments of our Mothers' Club. This entire book could be filled with words express- ing our gratitude to our wonderful Moms. From the Seniors to you, a sincere THANKS. Mrs. M. Luedde President Mrs. L. 3-afAera ' The Fathers' Club has existed at C.B.C. for 28 years. Whenever anything is needed in the way of athletic or school equipment, the Fathers' Club responds beyond compare. For this and many other reasons the biggest event of the year is the Fathers' and Sons' Banquet. 'lhis year, as in the past, the Banquet was held in the Gold Room of the Iefferson Hotel. Here the main purpose of the Fathers' Club is mani- fested, that is to foster real understanding and affection between father and son. This year the Seniors are especially grateful to the Fathers' Club. Through their financial, as well as physical help, Vaugirard was opened to us for the first retreat. There is no doubt of the time and effort this opportunity required. This book could be filled with praises of grati- tude. We appreciate the help you have given us, not only this year, but our entire four years, and all that we can say is a sincere and heart- ful, Thanks, t Mr. E. lVlcLauqhlin ' Sr. Vice-President Mr. Erbs Ir.
