Ever since its formation during the summer of 1951, the Student Council has performed many active duties around C.B.C. The duty of the Council is to act as a media through which the student body can express its ideas and better cooperate with the Brothers. ln keeping with its policy adopted at its inception, the Student Council has continued to provide scholarship exams for incoming students and to sponsor various activities such as dances, newsletters, activity polls, and the street patrol, all of which tend to ful- fill the purpose of its operation. Iudging from the record thus far, the Council is headed for success in many more things which can help increase the fine reputation which C.B.C. has had for so many years. Many of the accomplishments of the Student Council are due, not only to the members and officers of the group, but primarily to its moderator, Brother Lewis Vincent, who is responsible for many of the activities of the organization.
