ward to big things from the veteran squad return- TENNIS TEAM: Graves, Luft, Jabczenslci, Benyo, Stagoski, Moore, Mahr. The Christian Brothers tennis team, under the capable leadership of Brother Ambrose, F.S.C., finished one of the more successful seasons any Purple and Gold squad has compiled in recent years. They finished the season with three wins and one loss, and were runners-up to St. Louis in the Prep League. Victories were scored over St. lVlary's High School fSouth Sidej 5-05 over Cen- tral Catholic 4-lg and over McBride 4-1. The Outstanding singles players on the Hi-Pointers squad were Ed Mahr and Jack Moore with Felix Jabczenslci and Ray Graves ranlcing high. The doubles were well taken care of by Moore and Mahr. Outstanding feat performed by the Cadets this year was their shut-out of the Dragons, and the 3-2 loss to St. Louis was an upset as the Blue and White was supposed to whitewash the soldiers.
