Honor Roll l, 2. Merit Roll 5 joe is one of the most friendly and likeable members of the senior class. At every drill period he can be seen carrying messages for the Regimental Staff. He plans to attend Siena College in September and study for a degree in business administration. VICTOR F. BALLATO Cathedral Academy Albany Intramural Basketball 1, 2. Football 2. Merit Roll l. Vic's lasting smile has won many friends here at the Unixersity Heights campus. He can usually be found on the grounds with J Tibbetts or J. Suarez. Charlie's quiet and unassuming ways have won for him many lasting friends among his classmates. During the last few years he has earned for himself an enviable name as a bowler and a golfer. Charlie plans to attend college next September and study for a degree in business administration. THOMAS L. BARTON C.B.A. junior High Albany Public Speaking 2, 3, 4. Sentry Staff Z, 3, 4. Glee Club l, 2, 3, 4. President of Glee Club 4. Cadet Staff 4. Knights 4. A,D.C. l, 2, 3, 4. Varsity Foot- ball l, 2, 3, 4. Co-Captain of the Football Team 4. Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4. Captain of the Basketball Team 4. Track l, 2, 3, 4. All-Albany Football Team 3, 4. Merit Roll l, 2, 3, 4. Honor Company 1, 2. Varsity 'B' Club 2, 3, 4. Big Tom All-Albany Football and City Champion in Track is the big athlete at University Heights this year. He won the Tom McCan Award as the outstanding scholastic football player in the area. He also garnered the American Legion Award for being the best line man of the past season. Tom can usually be seen with B. Buckoff, Pedlow and B. Cary. His hobbies are throwing the shot in his backyard and singing. After graduation Tom expects to attend college and follow a pre-med course. Good luck Tom. Cadet Master Sergeant ARTHUR R.
