At the Siena News Con- ference the Sentry was again awarded the Certificate of Distinc- tion in its classification. The credit for the fine showing of Page sczvcrzfy-cight I ' ! May the Sentry always continue as the voice of the students in keep- ing up the spirit and traditions of C. B. A. Brother Anthony's librarians give fine service in helping the school library to function smoothly. At the left, they illus- trate the method of collecting money from students who bring their books in late. Stewart Brown is pointing out to Carmine Pizza that his book is long overdue. V954 After sponsoring a successful Hal- lowe'en Dance, the Dance Commit- tee, directed by Brother James, un- dertook the mammoth task of decor- ating the gym for the lVinter For- mal. So well did they do their task that one ol' the spectators was moy- ed to describe the scene in the fol- lowing poetic words: I stood under a canopy ot' hun- dreds of twinkling colored lights, shimmering stars and glazed icicles. Cozy nooks, sheltered from frosty pines and snow-clad hills by gay canopies, provided atmosphere for friendships and social courtesies. Halpin and Lieu- tenant Colonel J. Dougherty. The task confronting this year's staff was to produce a book that would match the five top-grade year- books that have already represent- ed C. B. A. The work of their hands is now in your hands. They hope it meets with your approval.
