Gall, ' 1 lu r. c 5 'hun of the city was on Christian Brothers Academy, There was a very good rea- son for this: it was the opening night of that tremendous play, I Like It Heref' Following the old C. B. A. tra- dition the play was performed superbly by a well-picked cast, trained by our magnificent coach, Mr. llardmeyer. After many tryouts, Mr. Hardmeyer picked his cast and every choice prov- ed to be a wise one. While the cast was in rehearsal the stage crew, under the direction of Brother Adelbert Eugene, started the construction of the set for the play. Their expert handiwork pro- duced one of the finest stage sets ever seen in a CBA play. The play was produced at the end of February, and merited the highest con- gratulations for all concerned in its production. As always, CBA could be proud of its Thespians.

This was in large measure due to the splendid coach- ing of the contestants by Mr. Walter Shea- han, an alumnus of C. B.A., Class of '39, and a prominent speaker on both radio and TV in the Capitol District. Richard Salis- bury and Fred llolt won the Senior and Junior Contests respectively, and Pat Grossi came first in the Sophomore Divis- ion.
