Under the guidance of Mr. James J. Leyden and Brother C. Edward, this splendid musical organization added another chapter to its already imposing story of success. The air of the football field was filled with its inspiring' songsg every parade in which it appeared took on new life. Who could ever forget this year's immensely impressive Spring Mus- ical? Filled with infectious melody and gorgeous color, it made a lasting impression both aurally and visual- ly on a highly appreciative audience. Evident at all times in the Band are the signs of steady improvement. New equipment and constantly in- creasing ability foretell a bright fu- ture, indeed, for the C. IZ. A. Band, one of the ACademy's finest units.

Gall, ' 1 lu r. c 5 'hun of the city was on Christian Brothers Academy, There was a very good rea- son for this: it was the opening night of that tremendous play, I Like It Heref' Following the old C. B. A. tra- dition the play was performed superbly by a well-picked cast, trained by our magnificent coach, Mr. llardmeyer. After many tryouts, Mr. Hardmeyer picked his cast and every choice prov- ed to be a wise one. While the cast was in rehearsal the stage crew, under the direction of Brother Adelbert Eugene, started the construction of the set for the play. Their expert handiwork pro- duced one of the finest stage sets ever seen in a CBA play. The play was produced at the end of February, and merited the highest con- gratulations for all concerned in its production. As always, CBA could be proud of its Thespians.
