1 E Nov. 23rd: Sophmore Unit of the Ladies' Auxiliary holds successful Bake Sale at Grant's Store. Nov. 25th: Junior A. D. C. organiz- ed in the Grade School of C. B. A. Father Basil Corbett, O. F. M. Conv., gives address. Nov. 25th to 29th: Fourteenth An- nual Minstrel of the Men's Associa- tion presented to capacity audiences. Greatest Show Ever. Among fea- tured soloists: Shirley Sheber, Pa- tricia Brady and Lois Hillg Dick Schoch, Terry Marco and Gene Miller. Colonel Jim Healy acts as Inter- locutor and Elmer Parker makes his fourteenth consecutive appear- ance as an end-man. Before the frost sets in, work is begun on the CBA track, a project sponsored by the Alumni Association. Carmen Romano is honored at the CBA Banquet. Coach Falivene and Brother Arator present Carmen with Alumni Trophy for outstanding' per- formance in the V. I. Game. Dec. 15th: Junior Speaking Con- test held in gym. Fred Holt places first, and Garry Lavigne, second. Dec. 16th: New Christmas Crib constructed on Academy grounds near gym. Brother Paulian says It's a first. Dec. 18th: Glee Club and Band give excellent performances at as- sembly to mark start of Christmas vacations. Dec. 20th: Christmas Party of the Ladies' Auxiliary under chairman- ship of Mrs. Joseph Jackson and Mrs. Louis Rosettie. O'Brien lets go his famed overhead shot during the game against Vincentian. Dec. 21st: Christmas Carol Ser- vice held at new crib in spite of cold Weather. Glee Club leads sing- ing. Dec. 28th: Alumni Reunion Dance at Circle Inn. Ed Grogan and Bill Hunt are co-chairmen. One hundred couples attend. Joe Cornell, Miss Pat Brady and Pete Cornell, soloists at the Dedication of the Christmas Crib at CBA. Younger Alumni at the Alumni Dance pose with their dates. Among those in the picture are Theron Egley, Fred Leary, How- ard Fronk, Joseph Dougherty, Robert Johnson, William Burk- hard, Albert Brown and James O'Brien.
