THE THIRD ORDER Have you ever had a particular desire to honor Christ in some way? If so, it is only natural that you should desire to enter the Third Order of St. Franeis. For those who wish to do so at C.B.A., thcrc exists here a chapter ol' this organization. The boys you will see at meetings are not saints. Neither are they priests nor religious of the Fran- 44l - Tertians making The Way of the Cross during one of their Lenten meetings OF ST. FRANCIS eisean order. However. they still are followers ol' Saint Franeis. In order the lietter to follow their ehosen patron. these young men attend periodic' re- treats at the Franeisean seminary. Saint Anthony's- on-the-Hudson. Their moderator is the ahle and good-natured Father Clement O'lJonnell. O.F.M. Conv. This holy man is the spiritual guide and mainstay for the organization. The Third Order ol' Saint Franeis has heen for many years an outstanding organization at our sehool. and with Godis help and the intereession ol' St. Francis. the order shall eontinue to grow and flourish. Although the members among the cadets will leave C.B.A. on graduating. they will continue to attend meetings and Vlllliills other allairs. This may ineonvenienee them sornewhat. hut they will not mind lDt'CLlLlsP they will still he proud to he mernbers of sueh a wonderful religious fraternity as the Third Order of St. Franeis. 44 88 D
