JOHN BAPTIST DH LA SALLI- Fozmdrr of the Brothers of tht' Chrixtizzrz Svhools DEDICATICN It is with reverence and gratefulness, that we dedicate this yearbook to the founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, St. John Baptist de la Salle. As we enter the second century of the process of education carried on by the Christian Brothers in the United States. we look back through a past century of fruitful progress, rich in blessings, and filled with an abundant harvest of souls. Now, we look to the future, a future, it is hoped, that will be as blessed as the past, but even in greater lengths. The system of education that is now practiced by the Christian Brothers has always been recognized as an extraordinary contribution to the education of boys and young men. VVith these thoughts in mind, we have deemed it fitting to offer this book as a tribute of respect to the man who is responsible for all this. Let us pray that in the future as in the past our Heavenly Father will continue to bestow his clemency on these holy Brothers and their Boys',.
