XYilliam Glayin and George Batkiewiez and lst Sgt. Edward Bur- master. was Classified as one ol the most cooperat- ing and eflieient organizations in the regiment. The spirit in the Company was excellent and the military atmosphere of this group upholds all the traclitions of the CB..-X. Corps. Since this Company leads the regiment, it is made up ol' the tallest men and when these boys are at their ht-st they have heen compared with the cadets at W'est Point. The company is not only proficient in the military field. but it also boasts of the presence ol Robert Tex Zangrando. the student with the highest scholastic' standing in the school. L'Tex,' had a nivre 99.55 average this year. The basketball team is well represented in 'SAN Company. George johnson, George Batkiewiez. -lack Carroll, Boh Wagner, and Frank Restifo are among the first ten', on the hoop squad. John hzimhon Ziamandanis. with the help of Dave 4'DuhbCrH Whalen, supplied the wit for the company with their many jokes. I'm sure that the 'QAN Company of 1948-49 will always be re- membered as one of the Hnest.

BAND COMPANY The Regimental Band, under the competent leadership of Cadet Capt. Michael Ryan and his two able assistants. Lts. Peter Areidiaeono and John Leary. has seen a steady 'improvement this year. Both the marehing and overall effieieney have been engineered to new heights through the efTorts of Drum Klaj. VN'illiam Boyee. The instrue- tor of musie. Professor James Leyden. has done a magnificent job in teaehing the band members. both jointly and individually. Rev. Brother Lueian. F.S.C.. moderator. also has been working hard to organize the bigger and better band we had hoped for in the past. During the school year the band leads the regi- ment on parade and provides the musie for the annual winter and spring exhibition drills. But as far as the band is eoneerned. the big event of the year is the annual spring concert. This is the band's main chanee to take the spotlight and stand out from the rest of the regiment. ----.
