YQ .- i N- A T I Q-W f .1 THE FACULTY HOUSE Ground was broken for the new faeulty residence on Thanskgiving Day. l9-I8. by the Most Reverend Edmund F. Gibbons, Bishop of Albany. The aetual eon- struction of the building began shortly afterward, thus bringing into realization the dreams of the members of the faculty for many years. The house is being eonstrueted on the east side of the Aeademy building and will be eonneeted with it by a passageway. The building will be in Georgian Colonial style, as are the other buildings on the Campus. It will be three stories high, with aeeommodations for twenty-Eve Brothers. In the building there are to be a ehapel, a refeetory, eornmunity room, reereation room. reeeption rooms and a library. The house is expeeted to be ready for oeeupaney in the fall ol' I9-P9. The building will complete the original plan for the triad of stiuetmesz school. gymnasium and faeulty residence. YVith the oeeupaney of the faeulty residenee, the long. distressing problem ol' the Brother's will he obliterated.
