E C if 1 i T 2-as sf 1 Sf -- THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Founded in 1921 under the auspices of the National Association of Secondary School Principals The object of all chapters shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage development of character in students of secondary schools of the nation. No honor or responsibility conferred by the school excels that represented by the National Honor Society. It represents the fundamental objectives for which schools are instituted and gives recognition to those who have attained most nearly the desired ends. Student Government is responsible for organizing and running such activities as Ring Day, the Senior Luncheon, dances and trips. Under the direction of its Executive Board and the many year representatives, Student Government has been responsible for many significant achievements.
