GIRLS' LEAGUE The Girls' League, with Mrs. Sagal as grubstaker, was really ropin' calves this year. The biggest dough-makin' project was selling doughnuts. The benefit project this year was the tixin' up ot the girls' rest roorns. The girls made points for their letters by doing any activity for their class or Bar CUHS. For a shin-dig this year a hi-jinlcs party was held and a Ma and Sis get-together which turned out to be a hum-dinger. D , QCYIOVCIU M Rickard fl llf-inrich U Kf, 79 FUTURE HOMEMAKERS THE l22 GlRLS who belonged to the Future l-lomeinakers of America of Bar CUHS began their shinfdigs this year in November by sending Christmas gifts to the children of Europe. Some of the other shin-digs in which the girls participated was a noon Christmas party and a Valentine party. The Chowchilla lunior Pair kept the girls busy preparing their exhibits. The annual Mothers' and Daughters' Tea and the end-of-theeyear picnic finished up a very suc- cessful year. Marilyn Rector was elected superintendent. Other top hands were: foreman, Betty Donovan, bookkeeper, Mary Dell Rickerd, and paymaster, Delores Heinrich. A social committee was elected consisting ot the following girls: Geraldine Hickman, chairman, lo Ann Eyler, Betty Ringgold, lune Knight, and Mary Petris. :atv U. ,,.
