Intramurals at Chowan give the students a chance to participate in sports without going through the hassle of practice or tryouts. Each willing student has the opportunity to play football, volleyball basketball and Softball with their dorm floor. Also, the individual students can take place in tennis tournaments; both singles and doubles, or run cross-country track. Each team victory or in- dividual victory scores points for the floor as an en- tirety. At the end of the year, the floor with the most points will receive the intramural champion- ship trophy to be placed in a trophy case in their name. At right: Cris Adams pauses from a rough game. 22
